Next, wash the entire table with soap and water to get rid of any remaining residue or dust. Allow the item to fully dry before moving onto your next step.
Adding a primer is an important step to any project since it helps the spray paint adhere to the table's surface. We recommend Stops Rust Clean Metal Primer for this project since the table isn't rusty. Simply spray the Stops Rust Clean Metal Primer lightly in slow motion to avoid drips.
For our top coat color we applied Stops Rust Metallic Warm Gold Spray Paint. It gives this table a sophisticated look. To get started, shake the can for approximately one minute before you hear the mixing ball rattle. Then hold the can 10-16" away from the table's surface then begin spraying in light, even coats create a beautiful finish that will last a long time. Don't forget to let each coat dry for about 30 minutes before adding another.
